I highly recommend getting your retina scanned here as it's quite a comprehensive scan and an early warning can be obtained. The optometrist is also very proactive consulting with an eye specialist for details of the scan.
I found the frames also good quality although the lower cost options are quite limited.
The field of view test is a bit naff, just a laptop test, with an app, that struggled to get a test completed, don't bother with that.
The prescription test was good and the updated myopic prescription resulted in a good improvement in sight. Although I was also prescribed reading glasses which didn't really help much and found it better to get some The Warehouse +3.0 glasses with a fair bit more power than prescribed for what I had been struggling with- very small close up text.
In the meantime I'll be eating me spinach and some lutein and zeaxanthin supplement to try to improve the next retina scan.

This was our first time using Bailey Nelson and they were fantastic. Wasen who is the store manager was really helpful on the phone when we made an appointment for an eye test. In store, her and the optometrist were great helping my daughter choose glasses once she had had her appointment. We didn’t feel rushed and I felt they wanted to choose the right frames for her. Quick turn around of glasses too. I would definitely go back again and recommend this branch to others.

I absolutely love Beiley Nelson Botany because that’s where I met Wasen. She’s professional, warm, funny, and incredibly efficient! Every time I see her I buy a pair of new glasses from her. I used to be an OPSM customer but ever since experiencing Wasen’s service I’ve become a loyal BN customer. I really appreciate her enthusiasm and attention to detail!!!

I am unhappy. The round-rimmed frames I bought from you are excellent, the technical analysis also excellent and the assistants helpful and friendly. However, I was told that bi-focal lenses no longer have a line between the long and short distance lenses; now I should have a seamless lens with a semi-circular reading lens. Not only did the spectacles initially sold to me have the lenses upside-down(!), but I find that the new lenses are useless for reading, as the focal area is only a small circle and I have to move my head to read even a small screen (my Kindle), let alone my laptop. I will have to spend yet more money to get what I want, I guess, but not at BN, as I want what I want and not what the optician shop thinks is best for me!
Follow-up - Bailey-nelson staff very kindly did there best to correct the situation, in the end giving me a refund as their technicians cannot any more do a straight bi-focal. The staff were very helpful and apologetic, and really did there best 0 thanks!
