I had my session with Sarah this morning, and I can confidently say she is an exceptional acupuncturist. She took the time to thoroughly examine me and clearly explained every step of the process, which immediately put me at ease.
Her professionalism, knowledge, and calm demeanor made the entire experience not just effective, but truly enjoyable. I felt well taken care of and informed throughout the session.

Having just posted a review I saw a 1 star review for this business, so I’m adding to my comments. The service described in the poor review bear no resemblance to the treatment I’ve received. It does not sound like The Body Workshop at all. I feel there must be more to this story and urge other potential customers not to be put off.
I’ve been a client for 4 years, they’ve seen me through 1 major injury and several minor. The
service and my treatment has always been exemplary. I’ve referred friends and family and they would all say the same.
Physiotherapist Julian Cloete is a professional at the top of his game. He treats the whole person, reading between the lines to match his treatment to the person. He’s currently guiding my recovery from serious injury, knows exactly what my body and personality need to recover and with his guidance I feel confident of a return to full health. He’s brilliant and a top guy.
Cindy Wilton is an excellent and highly skilled clinical massage therapist. She’s seen me through recovery from injury and undone the damage from long hours at a desk. I’ve been seeing her for 3 years regularly and can’t speak highly enough of her skills as a therapist and she’s also a great human.
I’ve also seen David Oh for acupuncture for 2 injuries. He is also a highly skilled professional who I’m certain has sped my recoveries. My son says David worked a miracle on his badly sprained ankle.
Highly recommended by me and my family!

Disorganised and Lacking Urgency
I had a very disappointing experience with The Body Workshop following an injury I sustained on 2 April. Despite being in significant pain during my initial visit, I was sent home and told to return in two days for an ultrasound. In hindsight, I should have been advised to go to A&E immediately, which became clear when I ended up in ED the following day—where I finally received pain relief, crutches, and proper imaging.
The issues didn’t stop there. Communication from The Body Workshop has been inconsistent and unclear. After my ultrasound confirmed a tear in my adductor, I was left with no real direction or treatment plan. An MRI and further x-rays were done on 15 April, but as of early May, I still hadn’t received the results, a diagnosis update, or any clear guidance on my recovery—basic details that are crucial for planning everyday life, like whether I’m even cleared to drive.
Emails outlining my concerns went unanswered, which only deepened my lack of confidence in their management of my injury. Given the continued lack of communication and direction, I had to request a transfer to another physiotherapist who could hopefully provide the focused and timely care I wasn’t receiving here.
If you are looking for clear communication, proactive treatment, and a sense of urgency in handling injuries, I would suggest considering other options. My experience here was confusing, disorganised, and far below the standard of care I expected.

I found this place when I needed it most. The best self care I have had. Amazing physio and acupuncture. The results are incredible. I highly recommend The Body Workshop!

I brought my grand son here for his acl therapy.
The team here were excellent and professional with explanations on what to expect and the ongoing treatments .
When entering for consultation my grandson was led to a curtained room.
As there a few like that and in the middle of the room was the physical therapy equipment.
